October 18, 2015 - 05:37 PM Keep Virginia Mann a friend of mine through family! ---This is her post to me! -Through a friend you became my friend and I just realized where you are from. I am originally from Locke,NY. I worked at Smith corona typewriter plant in Groton and I graduated from Moravia in 1949....along time ago. I also graduated from Elim Bible Institute in Lima,NY where I met my husband. We were married for 60 yrs.when he passed away from cancer.Now I have a very prayer request. My oldest son was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia and sent home to die on the first day of August. The chemo didn't do any good and the Oncologist at MUSC in Charleston said there was nothing they could do and gave him no more than 2wks. to live. He is still with us... .some good days and some bad. He is on Hospice and only God knows what is going to happen but I believe in prayer and I think you do too. We have lived in Orangeburg,SC for 49 yrs. and belong to Church of God. Sorry this is so long but I wanted to introduçe myself. |
